NEW Safety Index Module (Tally Index Methodology)

EcoOnline EHS are introducing a new Tally Index Methodology for recording observations which, will enable users to import and create multiple observation types into the system. This methodology focuses on more granular reporting. Traditionally users have the option to select “yes” or “no” for an observation being correct or incorrect. Users will soon have the ability to record the number of findings for example, if 2 people out of 10 used hearing protection during a task then you can record 20% of the task is in order. If later in the year you perform the observation again and 8 people use the right protection, you can record that now 80% of the task is in order. With Tally-index scoring you would clearly see a positive change from 20% to 80%.

Tally Index Scoring Methodologies are a reliable and simple way to have a standard method of observation items or questions and scoring principles to constantly improve safety performance and meet safety requirements. It provides a proactive and understandable safety index (%) to compare different departments/organisations and see progress.
