Release 33 – Passport

Release Date: 21st June 2019

In this release Passport has had a redesign, to bring it more in line with AVA branding, and it’s also had an important feature added which allows you to choose which language you would like to use when you access the Passport part of the user journey.

This new design simplifies the layout and has also been designed to work across more devices as we work to make the whole of AVA more mobile and tablet friendly.

By having the ability to change the language of Passport, we aim to make the login process a lot easier for our growing, international client base. We will be launching with a small selection of languages and will be adding more as we identify the demand.

Part of the functionality will detect what language your browser is set to and will try and select the appropriate language if it’s available. You will still have the ability to change the language if you want to, which will then be remembered when you next log in on that device.

As Passport is not client specific, you should be aware that the language you choose in Passport, will not carry through to your AVA account if that language hasn’t been configured by your system administrator and hasn’t been set in your user profile. Please speak to your administrator if your language option within AVA isn’t available.

It would be great to get any feedback on these changes, good or bad. If you’d like to give us some feedback, please contact your administrator or account manager.
